On Saturday, July 15, guests gathered at LongHouse Reserve in East Hampton to celebrate WLIW-FM, Long Island’s only NPR station. The WNET Group President & CEO Neal Shapiro and Vice President and General Manager, WLIW, Diane Masciale co-hosted the event along with artist Fitzhugh Karol and his wife, Lyndsay Caleo Karol. WLIW-FM on-air hosts Michael Mackey, Ed German, Gianna Volpe, and Brian Cosgrove, as well as John Christopher, joined the celebration and guests enjoyed music provided by YoungArts, as well as private tours of the sculpture gardens with LongHouse Director Carrie Barratt.
