For Allie and Seth, the water has always been part of their story.

From beach days and boating adventures to a shared love of scuba diving, some of their favorite memories have unfolded along the shoreline. When it came time to choose a wedding venue, they wanted a setting that felt like a natural extension of their relationship. They found exactly that at Peconic Bay Yacht Club, where sweeping waterfront views, timeless interiors, and an unmistakable sense of place set the stage for a celebration that felt deeply personal from beginning to end.

The couple embraced every corner of the property throughout the day. Guests gathered in the sunlit cocktail room and spilled onto the balcony overlooking Peconic Bay, taking in the breathtaking scenery as the celebration began.

Inside, the venue’s warm wood finishes, nautical details, and intimate spaces created an atmosphere that felt elegant yet welcoming.

Honoring family, faith, and tradition was equally important to the couple. Working closely with Rabbi Josh Franklin, Allie and Seth crafted a ceremony that beautifully blended Jewish tradition with inclusivity, ensuring every guest could appreciate the meaning behind each ritual.

One of the most emotional moments of the day came before they ever walked down the aisle during the Ketubah signing ceremony.

Surrounded by parents, siblings, and their closest friends, the couple shared blessings and reflected on the commitment they were about to make, creating a quiet and heartfelt pause before the celebration began.

With those meaningful moments setting the tone for the day, the couple made their way to the waterfront ceremony site that had first captured their hearts.

Standing beneath a traditional chuppah with the bay stretching behind them, Allie and Seth exchanged vows in a setting that felt both grand and remarkably intimate.

Surrounded by family and friends, they found themselves completely present in the moment, with the water providing a backdrop as meaningful as it was beautiful.

While months of planning had led to this moment, one memory stands out above all others: their first dance.

After ten rehearsals together, the couple stepped onto the dance floor as their band performed a romantic rendition of “Can’t Help Falling in Love with You.” As they looked around the room filled with the people who mattered most, everything seemed to fall perfectly into place.

It was one of those rare moments when the reality of the day surpassed even the vision they had spent months imagining.

As a fashion designer, Allie approached her bridal look with a particularly discerning eye. Her House of Savin gown struck the perfect balance between timeless romance and modern sophistication, featuring a dramatic basque waist, structured corsetry, and elegant covered buttons down the back. Yet the most meaningful piece she wore wasn’t the dress itself.

In a beautiful tribute to family, Allie designed her veil using lace from her mother’s wedding gown. Carefully restored and attached by her tailor, the heirloom lace transformed the veil into a one-of-a-kind piece that connected generations. The sentimental accessory would later take on even more meaning when Allie’s sister wore the same veil at her own wedding.

Throughout the celebration, thoughtful personal details reflected the couple’s shared passions and sense of humor.

As avid scuba divers, they couldn’t resist incorporating their favorite hobby into the festivities. Custom drink stirrers featuring cartoon versions of themselves in full scuba gear quickly became one of the night’s most talked-about details, earning laughs from guests and becoming unexpected keepsakes long after the dance floor emptied.

Their love of the East End was woven throughout the wedding weekend as well. Signature cocktails — the “Scuba Spritz” and the “Deep Dive-Rita” — offered a playful nod to their underwater adventures.

A modern take on the guest book added another layer of personality to the celebration. Rather than signing a traditional guest book, loved ones were invited to leave messages throughout a beautifully illustrated coffee-table book dedicated to New York City’s iconic storefronts. Guests shared their favorite spots throughout the city alongside their well-wishes, transforming the book into a meaningful keepsake that captures not only the memories of the wedding day, but also the couple’s connection to the city they call home.

Of course, no Peconic Bay Yacht Club wedding would be complete without an unforgettable culinary experience.

From miniature lobster rolls and oyster shooters to tacos paired with margaritas and crowd-favorite pigs-in-a-blanket, the cocktail hour was a celebration in itself.

Guests continue to talk about the incredible food, exceptional service, and thoughtful presentation that elevated every part of the evening.

When it came time for portraits, the couple ventured to one of the property’s hidden gems: a lavender-lined path overlooking the bay.

Captured by photographer Britt Lee, the vibrant blooms and waterfront backdrop created some of their favorite images of the day. Even an unexpected encounter with a curious honey bee couldn’t diminish the magic of the moment.

Looking back, however, the biggest surprise wasn’t a design detail, a signature cocktail, or even the stunning waterfront views.

It was seeing every corner of their lives come together in one place.

Family and friends traveled from near and far, representing different chapters of their story and different parts of the world. Watching those groups connect, celebrate, and create memories together became one of the most meaningful parts of the day.

For Allie and Seth, their wedding wasn’t defined by a single moment, but by a collection of meaningful ones — quiet traditions, joyful celebrations, personal touches, and unforgettable views — all brought together along the shores of Peconic Bay.

“Allie & Seth’s wedding was a beautiful blend of timeless elegance with personal touches that reflected their story. Soft blue florals paired with navy accents created a sophisticated color palette throughout the celebration. The couple exchanged vows beneath a birchwood chuppah overlooking the water, creating a beautiful setting that honored Jewish tradition while embracing the natural beauty of the North Fork. As the guests entered cocktail hour, they were greeted with trays of Whispering Angel Rosé, Mumm Champagne, and Luke Chardonnay, as well as a beautiful Mediterranean display of cheeses and flavorful salads, and a pasta station with the classic alla vodka and another top choice, orecchiette with Italian sausage and broccoli rabe. One of the elements that made the day so successful was the talented team of professionals the couple assembled; their collaboration allowed every detail to come together seamlessly. From the ceremony through the after-party, the day felt effortless, joyful, and uniquely reflective of Allie & Seth.”
