Babe’s Sag Harbor will host a one-day-only collaboration with Barney Greengrass, the world-famous Upper West Side institution. Founded in 1908, Barney Greengrass has never staged a pop-up anywhere in its 118-year history, making the July 5 takeover of Babe’s a historic first for the New York institution.
For one day only, Babe’s will be transformed into a Sag Harbor outpost of Barney Greengrass, with the façade converted to resemble the iconic appetizing shop and the interior reimagined with Barney Greengrass plates, mise en place, and tchotchkes. Gary Greengrass and his son Moe Greengrass will be on hand for the occasion.
The $125 prix fixe offering will include a choice of whitefish salad or classic nova, served on Greenberg’s Bagels, with sides including potato latkes, rugelach, and black-and-white cookies. Each dine-in or to-go package will include a limited-edition Babe’s x Barney Greengrass Summer 2026 baseball cap and tote bag.
Dine-in reservations are via Resy, and pre-orders are available here.
