Coche Comedor in Amagansett will celebrate Cinco de Mayo and the restaurant’s second anniversary with a la carte specials on May 5. The restaurant will serve dinner on Cinco de Mayo from 5 to 9 PM.
Specials include stuffed poblano pepper with rock shrimp, diced peppers, and onions or grilled baby lamb chops with yellow mole and roasted pastor marinated baby carrots. For dessert, try passion fruit flan, with Mezcal roasted pineapple, and Maseca crumble.
At La Fondita, located next-door, celebrates Cinco de Mayo with holiday specials available for curbside pickup from noon to 8 PM on Wednesday, May 5.
Special menu items include tamal filled with chicken in a green sauce, tamal filled with pork in a red sauce, or tamal filled with sautéed poblano, jalapeño peppers and Monterrey jack cheese, each served with rice, whole black beans, and salad.
