It’s summertime in the Hamptons, and East Hampton mainstay Cittanuova gave us the recipe for its refreshing Mango Margarita with a spicy Tajin rim, a community favorite.
The Mango Margarita
1.5 oz. tequila blanco
.75 oz. triple sec
Juice from 1 lime
.25 oz. mango purée
Tajín Rim
Prepare the Glass: Start by rimming a highball glass with Tajín spice. To do this, run a lime wedge along the rim of the glass to moisten it, then dip the rim into a plate of Tajín seasoning, ensuring an even coating.
Mix the Cocktail: In a cocktail shaker, combine all ingredients with ice. Shake vigorously until well-chilled.
Serve: Strain the mixture into the prepared highball glass. Garnish with a fresh lime wedge on the rim for an added burst of flavor.
