Wags & Walks, a dog rescue based in Los Angeles and Nashville, is returning to the Hamptons this summer for a limited series of pup-ups to help dogs in need.
From June 23 through July 31, the pup-up events will occur throughout the Hamptons in partnership with local businesses. Each event aims to help save dogs from overcrowded shelters and euthanasia by placing them in loving, forever homes.
Dylan’s Candy Bar Takeovers will be held on Thursday, June 27, July 11, and July 25 from 2 to 4 PM. Come by Dylan’s Candy Bar in East Hampton for a shopping spree. Browse the sweet confections with a selection of candies and candy-related gifts. Proceeds from sales will support Wags and Walks.
Paws & Produce: Farmer’s Market Takeover with Furry Friends will be held on Thursday, June 27, July 4, July 11, July 18, and July 25, from 3:30 to 6:30 PM at the Amagansett Farmer’s Market. Meet adoptable dogs while shopping at the market’s vendors.
Yappy Hour at The Clubhouse in East Hampton will take place on Thursdays, June 27, and July 11, from 5 to 8 PM. Enjoy some drinks and visit the adoptable pups.
Buddha Berry Pop-Up for Pups will be held on Friday, June 28, and July 26, from 12 to 2 PM. Come to Buddha Berry at Sag Harbor Main Street for a sweet treat. A percentage of proceeds from the sales will support Wags and Walks and help place dogs in their forever homes.
A Kirna Zabête Shopping & Adoption Event will be held on Sunday, July 7, from 1 to 3 PM. Stop by Kirna Zabête in East Hampton to shop, meet adoptable pups, and browse KZ’s offerings. A percentage of proceeds from sales will support Wags and Walks and help place dogs in their forever homes.
A Charity Workout with Lifted Method will occur on Sunday, July 14, from 9:30 to 10:30 AM. Join Lifted Method’s full-body workout classes in East Hampton. Thirty percent of class proceeds go to rescue dogs in need.
Join Wags & Walks at the Hamptons Vintage flea market on Sunday, July 14, and July 21, from 10 AM to 5 PM in East Hampton. Meet adoptable dogs while shopping at the vintage flea market vendors.
The 14th Annual Family Fair & Adoption Event at The Children’s Museum is Saturday, July 20, from 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM. Wags & Walks will have adoptable dogs at the fair, which features arts and crafts, a DJ, games, water rides, food trucks, and more. Proceeds from the Family Fair fundraiser enable the Children’s Museum to run a food pantry, provide Kids Club scholarships, and support outreach initiatives.
