On Tuesday, October 29, the NYC-based fine jewelry destination MUSE hosted a cocktail event to celebrate the launch of a wickedly good collection designed in collaboration with renowned actress Cynthia Erivo.

Cynthia’s fine jewelry capsule collection is the newest iteration of MUSE’s Have a Heart initiative, a program that MUSE launched in 2019 on the notion of using jewelry to do good. Each Have a Heart collection is curated by a notable brand ambassador and aims to raise money and awareness around a cause that’s near and dear to that person, and in this case, Cynthia introduces a capsule of Wicked-inspired fine jewelry to benefit, Dreams of Hope, an organization that empowers LGBTQA+ youth to build confidence, express their true selves, and grow as leaders through the arts.

Cynthia’s role as Elphaba in the upcoming film adaptation of “Wicked” was the ultimate design inspiration for this collection, as the pieces draw on the green color of Elphaba’s skin, the animals for whom she advocates, and the world of Oz depicted in the film. Available both online and in-store, the Have A Heart x Cynthia Erivo collection is a treasure trove of dazzling, custom fine jewelry featuring designs from Anna Maccieri Rossi, Bea Bongiasca, BECK Jewels, Buddha Mama, Daniela Villegas, kWIT, Lorraine West, Luis Morais, Marie-HeěleĚne de Taillac, Mark Davis, Matturi Fine Jewellery, Mckenzie Liautaud, Silvia Furmanovich, and Ten Thousand Things.

Guests enjoyed cocktails and bites at the House of the Red Pearl, a restaurant tucked away behind curtains like a speakeasy in the Tin Building by Jean-Georges in downtown New York City.

Attendees included June Ambrose, Jonathan Van Ness, Deb Watson, Jen Rubio, Jueli Mery, Charlotte Coquelin, Eyob Yohannes, Jenelle Manzi, Will Kahn, Adam Glassman, Nicole Chapoteau, and Lynn Yeager.
