Here are a few options for New Year’s Eve on the East End. We urge readers to double check with each venue for any Covid-19 related changes.
Gurney’s Montauk
New Year’s Weekend festivities will be held at Gurney’s Montauk. This year Gurney’s is expanding their offerings with a full weekend celebration with something for the whole family. All guests are invited to enjoy an elevated dining experience at Scarpetta Beach on New Year’s Eve, while specific programming for adults and children will be available throughout the weekend.
For Adults: On New Year’s Eve, reflect on the past year with a journaling and fire ceremony with Laura Rubin from Malibu’s Allswell Creative. Learn how to elevate your journaling skills and create a vision for the year ahead through this creative and cleansing experience while taking in the beautiful views of the Atlantic Ocean. Then join the resort’s signature bash starting at 8 PM, featuring music from The Rakiem Walker Project, passed hors d’oeuvres and a premium open bar. On New Year’s Day, the party continues at The Regent Cocktail Club where you can sip on signature craft cocktails with entertainment from professional vinyl DJs. End the weekend with a boozy brunch at Scarpetta Beach featuring a poetry station from the Poetry Society of New York where a typewriter poet will write a custom poem on the spot for each individual. For Kids and Families: Family-friendly activities will take place throughout the weekend, including arts and crafts and bingo and cookie decorating with Chef on New Year’s Day, where children will learn all the steps to making their own holiday cookies and take home delicious treats.
Almond Restaurant
Almond Restaurant in Bridgehampton will celebrate New Year’s Eve with a special prix fixe menu. Starting at 9 PM, a super deluxe locally sourced four-course menu will be offered for $125 per person. A champagne toast complete with party favors will take place at midnight. The a la carte menu will be available prior to 9 PM and a lighter snack menu will be offered at the bar along with specialty cocktails. The 1770 House
The 1770 House Restaurant & Inn in East Hampton presents a New Year’s Eve celebration menu by Executive Chef Michael Rozzi plus wine selections available by Wine Director Michael Cohen. From 5:30 to 10:30 PM, Chef Rozzi presents a wide assortment of dishes in a lavish three-course tasting style menu of two appetizers and one entree at $125 per person (plus tax, gratuity and beverage). Reservations can be made from December 17.
Rozzi’s menus may be enjoyed with selections from the 250-bottle Wine Spectator award winning list overseen by Wine Director Michael Cohen. Champagne and sparkling wines from France, Spain, New Mexico and California include two selections by the glass, four by the half-bottle, and nine by the bottle.
Nick & Toni’s
Nick & Toni’s will ring in 2022 with a special menu on December 31. The three course menu will be $135 per person. Menu items include free range chicken, veal chop, seared foie gras, and more.
The Cottage
The Cottage on the Hamlet Green in Hampton Bays is offering a $50 prix fixe dinner on New Year’s Eve. There will be complimentary champagne. RSVP by calling 631-440-2240.
Southampton Social Club
The Southampton Social Club is hosting New Year’s Eve Party which includes open bar packages starting at $95. DJ Loki will spin.
The Halyard
The Halyard in Greenport will host a New Year’s Eve bash with live music by Silver Arrow. Tickets are $120 and can be purchased on Eventbrite.
Main Prospect
Main Prospect in Southampton presents a New Year’s Eve celebration for $129 per person. The evening includes a three course surf & turf prix fixe, a champagne greet, course paired wines, and Coravin tasting of Overture by Opus One. Seatings are at 6 PM and 8:30 PM.
Salvatore’s
Salvatore’s in Hampton Bays presents a New Year’s Eve party from 10 PM to 2 AM. There will be a live DJ. $10 cover.
Calissa
Ring in the New Year with food and drink specials at Calissa in Water Mill. There will be a DJ set by DJ Rogues. Chef Bob Abrams’ New Years Eve specials will be available alongside the regular menu.
Sel Rrose
Sel Rrose in Montauk presents Joe Delia’s NYE Jam Band. There will be a champagne toast at 6 PM (midnight in Paris) and at midnight, as well as a NYE menu all evening.
