The film “Footprints of an Angel” will screen at the Southampton Cultural Center on Saturday, August 19, at 7 PM. This film was inspired by Tramar Pettaway, and the screenplay was written by Anthony Mealing.
“Footprints of an Angel” tells the story of Claudette Jardlin, a mother, wife, and good friend, who is dealing with a difficult battle of breast cancer. Even during her battle, she still finds the time to do good for other people.
Claudette, played by actress Julia Garrison, has always found time to help others in need, regardless of her situation that is at hand dealing with her battle of breast cancer. However, Claudette is not fighting this battle alone she has a wonderful support system including her husband Rondel played by Prieemo Brooks who is with her every step of the way, and her son Teric, played by Travis Carter.
Claudette also has the support and love her mother, called “Nana” by her grandchildren. Nana is played by Meli’sa Morgan. Through her journey with cancer, she receives spiritual advisement from her Pastor “Pastor Pearl” played by Bettina Pennon.
Teric on the other hand is dealing with watching his mother slowly die, while trying to complete his college degree and follow his dreams of being an actor. As Teric grows older, older Teric, played by Chris Bethune, sits down to tell his experience to journalist Roslyn, played by Chrisette Michele, as he promotes his book “Footprints of an Angel.”
The film screening is a free event.
