With HarborFrost just one week away, the Sag Harbor Chamber of Commerce is excited to kick off the final countdown to our Village’s most beloved winter celebration. Now celebrating 15 years, HarborFrost returns on Saturday, February 7, with a special ticketed opening celebration on Friday evening at the Sag Harbor Cinema.

This milestone year brings a full weekend of community-driven events, creative experiences, and vibrant programming hosted by our local Chamber members throughout the Village. HarborFrost continues to be a signature tradition that brings energy, warmth, and connection to Sag Harbor during the heart of winter.

Sag Harbor Yacht Club is the official sponsor of Saturday night’s fireworks, one of the most iconic and anticipated moments of HarborFrost.

Friday Night Kickoff: Taste of Sag Harbor

The Official Opening Celebration

HarborFrost weekend begins with Taste of Sag Harbor, the official kickoff party, held Friday evening at the Sag Harbor Cinema. This ticketed cocktail celebration is open to Chamber members and non-members alike and sets the tone for a weekend of community, creativity, and culinary excellence.

Guests will enjoy curated tastings from local restaurants, drink specials at the Cinema’s Green Room Bar, and a silent auction. Taste of Sag Harbor highlights the incredible food scene in our Village while helping support the production of HarborFrost’s signature programming.

Saturday Festival Highlights | 1:00–6:00 PM

On Saturday, Sag Harbor transforms into a walkable winter village filled with activity from 1:00 to 6:00 p.m. Events and activations will take place throughout the Village, with live music, seasonal shopping, special menus, art, and experiences hosted by Chamber member businesses.

A signature element of HarborFrost is the return of Ice Memories’ Richard Daly, who will present live ice sculpting performances and carving demonstrations at Long Wharf and at the southern end of Main Street. With support from Long Island Ice Company, ice sculptures and installations will appear throughout the Village, creating moments of wonder and discovery at every turn.

The evening concludes with World-Famous Fireworks by Grucci, launched from the end of Long Wharf at approximately 5:30 p.m. This spectacular display is proudly sponsored by Sag Harbor Yacht Club and remains one of the most cherished traditions of HarborFrost.
