“Help Her Cross the Finish Line” Spring Fundraising Campaign for i-tri!

i-tri (www.itrigirls.org), the community-based program that fosters self-respect, personal empowerment, self-confidence, positive body image and healthy lifestyle choices for middle school aged girls, has announced “Help Her Cross The Finish Line,” a spring fundraising campaign which recently kicked off at their Mentoring Day this past weekend. Enrollment in i-tri this year across its 13 partner schools from Mastic to Montauk has increased by 20%, revealing the great need for and efficacy of the organization. The cost for each young person to participate is approximately $3,000. The goal of the campaign is to raise funds to provide the girls with bicycles, swim caps, athletic gear and other resources to compete in the program’s hallmark event, The Hamptons Youth Triathlon, which will take place on July 13th at Long Beach in Sag Harbor. The fundraising goal is set at $120,000 and i-tri is seeking donations between now and July 13th. Donations can be made by visiting https://itrigirls.org.

Theresa Roden, i-tri's Founder and Chief Visionary Officer, says “Enrollment in i-tri this year across its 13 partner schools from Mastic to Montauk has increased by 20%, revealing the great need for and efficacy of the organization.  With this fundraising campaign, we will ensure that we can continue to offer our program free of charge to every participant.”  Roden went on to say that she has always envisioned i-tri as a place where “everyone who needs i-tri can join.”
