Taste The Forks Mini Dinner Series At Almond A Celebration Of Local Bounty And A Salute To Localism

Almond Restaurant Almond Restaurant

Almond Restaurant will be one of the featured restaurants to host a special dinner to benefit Slow Food East End on Thursday, November 14th. The evening will kick off with a cocktail reception and passed hors d’oeuvres followed by a three course dinner served family style paired with Channing Daughters Wine. Chef Jason’s menu will feature locally sourced items. The cost is $90 for Slow Food members and $95 for non-Slow Food members. A portion of the ticket sales will go directly to Slow Food East End. HORS D’OEUVRES
Home Spun Feta • Sword Nduja Crostini
Harry’s Pork Pate w/Jill’s green tomato marmalade • Green Cherry Olives • Paul’s Deviled Eggs

FIRST COURSE
Crescent Farm Duck Bratwurst
Balsam kraut, warm QHF papas, pumpernickel, mustard

SECOND COURSE
Pete Haskell’s Mahi Mahi
(first smoked, then roasted, then glazed with a 24 month corn/almond miso)
Anthony’s fioretto, ragout of many roots from many friends, cauliflower/oyster mayo, crunchy crunchy, famous hot sauce

THIRD COURSE

Art’s Raw Milk Yogurt & AW Whole Wheat Streusel
Jo’s gooseberries, Kerry’s figs, Jen’s black apples
