The Sag Harbor Chamber of Commerce presents HarborFest 2026, returning September 19 and 20 for a weekend that celebrates the waterfront, local businesses, and traditions that make Sag Harbor such a special place.
Each year, HarborFest brings residents and visitors together for two days of festivities throughout the village. This year, the celebration once again stretches from Long Wharf to Marine Park and Steinbeck Park, creating plenty of opportunities to wander, explore, and enjoy Sag Harbor along the way.
At Long Wharf, the iconic Whaleboat Races return to the water, along with food vendors and longtime HarborFest favorites, including the Clam Chowder Contest and Clam Shucking Contest. It’s one of those places where you can find yourself staying a little longer than planned — watching the races, catching up with friends, and taking in the activity along the harbor.
A short walk away, Marine Park will once again host the HarborFest Arts & Crafts Fair, with a mix of returning artists and new vendors joining this year. Paintings, jewelry, photography, home accessories, and more will fill the park throughout the weekend, continuing a popular annual tradition.
Then, follow the music to Steinbeck Park, now in its fourth year as part of HarborFest. Live music, food and drinks will return to the park, offering another place along the waterfront to gather and enjoy the weekend.
“HarborFest is a weekend that really reflects the spirit of Sag Harbor,” said Marilyn Holstein, President of the Sag Harbor Chamber of Commerce. “There are traditions people look forward to every year, but there is also always something new to discover. We love seeing people move from Long Wharf to Marine Park and Steinbeck Park, while also spending time in our shops, restaurants and businesses throughout the village. It’s a weekend that brings the Sag Harbor community.”
And that spirit extends beyond the festival itself.
