Jean Shafiroff Hosts Holiday Cocktail Reception In Support Of The Mission Society Of New York City

Jean Shafiroff, philanthropist, author, and humanitarian, hosted an elegant holiday cocktail reception in her Upper East Side apartment to benefit the Mission Society of New York City. The festive gathering brought together a diverse array of guests united by their commitment to philanthropy. At the reception, the Mission Society of New York City and Jean Shafiroff were presented with citations for their philanthropic work from NYS Assemblywoman Rebecca Seawright.

The Mission Society of New York City, a venerable nonprofit founded in 1812, continues to provide life-changing programs for underserved youth and families in New York City. Shafiroff, a long-time supporter of the organization, welcomed guests to her home, which was elegantly decorated for the holiday season.

The event included a speech by Shafiroff, who emphasized the importance of the New York Mission Society’s work in education, job training, and mentorship programs. She urged attendees to join her in supporting the organization’s vital mission.

Guests enjoyed hors d’oeuvres, holiday cocktails, hors d’oeuvres, and live piano music. The setting provided a backdrop for conversations and inspiration to make a difference during the holiday season.

“The holiday season is a time to reflect on our blessings and give back to those in need,” said Shafiroff. “The Mission Society of New York City is an organization I hold close to my heart, and I am thrilled to see so many supporters come together to amplify its mission.”

The evening successfully raised awareness and funds for the Mission Society of New York City, furthering its capacity to empower New York City’s most vulnerable communities.
