Organización Latino Americana (OLA) of Eastern Long Island presents the return of its beloved annual celebration, Pachanga, on Saturday, May 2, from 7 to 10 PM at Bay Street Theater and Sag Harbor Center for the Arts.
This year’s Pachanga, themed “One Community / Una Comunidad,” invites community members from across the East End to come together in a vibrant, welcoming space to celebrate Latin culture through music, dance, and shared joy.
Headlining the evening is La Herencia, back by popular demand. Known for their electrifying performances and “Golden Age of Salsa” sound, the band brings an irresistible energy that fills the dance floor and honors the rich musical traditions of Latin America. More than a night of entertainment, Pachanga is a space intentionally created for connection — where families, friends, and neighbors can gather safely, celebrate freely, and feel a sense of belonging.
“It means so much to bring Pachanga back to Bay Street Theater, a place where our community has always been welcomed and celebrated,” said Minerva Perez, Executive Director of OLA. “At its heart, Pachanga is about creating a safe and joyful space for our community to come together — to celebrate our culture, our resilience, and the beauty of who we are. In a time when that sense of connection is more important than ever, we are proud to open the doors and invite everyone in.”
The evening will begin with a 6:30 PM reception, followed by live music and dancing. A cash bar will be available. OLA’s community awards will be presented. For tickets, visit olaofeasternlongisland.org.
