For the fourth year in a row, Oysterponds Historical Society has invited local artists to participate in its “North Fork Art & Artists Exhibition & Sale.”
The East Marion and Orient communities, which comprise Oysterponds, have long been home to writers, artists, actors, and other creators who have been inspired, rejuvenated, and motivated by the North Fork’s sky, farmland, and bays.
OHS’s fourth annual North Fork Art & Artists is a celebration of the support artists have received over the years and all that local artists contribute to the Oysterponds community, particularly the Oysterponds Historical Society.
The show will be held at the Old Point Schoolhouse on the OHS campus (1555 Village Lane in Orient ) on Saturday, September 27, and Sunday, September 28, from 11 AM to 5 PM each day. Seventy-five percent of the proceeds from each piece will go directly to the artist.
