Photos: HamptonsFilm Presents ‘Summer of Soul’

HamptonsFilm SummerDocs presented a screening of “Summer of Soul (…Or, When The Revolution Could Not Be Televised,” directed by Ahmir “Questlove” Thompson, on Saturday, June 26 in East Hampton.

Guests included Alec and Hilaria Baldwin, John and Justine Leguizamo, Anne Chaisson, David Nugent, Randy Mastro, Cristina Greeven Cuomo, Lilly Hartley, and more. A reception was held at The Baker House 1650, followed by the screening at Guild Hall.

The SummerDoc series continues on July 24 with a screening of Sony Pictures Classics’ “The Lost Leonardo,” directed by Andreas Koefoed. Following each screening, HamptonsFilm Co-Chairman Alec Baldwin and HamptonsFilm Artistic Director David Nugent will lead conversations with the filmmakers and guests.
