The Town of Southampton Mental Health Awareness Committee and Southampton Youth Bureau presents a screening of “Like” on April 21 at 7 PM. A panel discussion will follow the screening.
The IndieFlix original documentary examines the impact of social media on our lives and finding balance in a digital world. The goal of the film is to teach viewers to self-regulate.
According to stats from commonsense.org, provided on the film’s website, 57 percent of all teens agree that using social media can distract them when they should be doing homework and 54 percent say it often distracts them when they should be paying attention to the people they’re with.
