Southampton History Museum’s Halsey House Gala will be held on July 5 at the historic Halsey House & Garden. Philanthropist Jean Shafiroff is chairing the gala for the third year.
“Serving as host of this event is a joy,” said Shafiroff. “And I’m proud to work alongside an incredible group of committed and passionate women on the Benefit Committee to support the Museum and its mission. The Gala is a beautiful way to bring the community together in celebration of Southampton’s unique history.”
“Jean’s uplifting generosity helps shape the energy and experience of the evening,” said Sarah Kautz, Executive Director of the Southampton History Museum. “She understands that preserving history means making it feel relevant and exciting for today’s supporters. We are deeply grateful for her inspirational leadership.”
Guests will celebrate local history, culture, and summer, spending an evening on the grounds of one of the oldest dwellings in New York State while dancing under the stars to live music.
The event will take place from 5:30 to 8 PM. Visit southamptonhistory.org for tickets.
