The Southampton Arts Center presents a one-hour screening of the acclaimed documentary “Rescued Hearts,” a powerful film that explores the profound, often miraculous connection between humans and horses on Sunday, July 26, from 5:30 to 8:30 PM.
Inspired by a life-changing moment when a 7-year-old child diagnosed with autism spoke his first words while interacting with a horse, filmmakers Dana Croschere and Krisanna Sexton set out to understand what makes the horse-human connection so powerful. Through real stories, raw vulnerability, and scientific insight, “Rescued Hearts” is an invitation back to the heart, where healing, presence, and possibility begin.
Following the film, there will be a Q&A moderated by Olivia Lowe featuring local equine healers Jill Carney, executive director of CTREE; Karin Yapalater, founder of The School Within; and Roberto Dutesco, acclaimed photographer, filmmaker, and founder of IAMWILD Foundation.
