Brooklyn-based Threes Brewing and Wölffer Estate Vineyards have collaborated to create Original Copy, a rosé-style saison aged in Wölffer Wine Estate Barrels with Wölffer Grapes. The collaboration is limited, with a total production of 14 barrels, which is approximately 196 cases.
Inspired by Wölffer’s iconic Summer in a Bottle rosé, Original Copy is a beer that mirrors the elegance and refreshing character of the celebrated wine. Crafted from a Saison base, the beer was infused with grapes, aged in Wölffer’s freshly emptied red wine barrels, and allowed to mature over several months.
With a soft pink hue, gentle acidity, and fruity Brett character, Original Copy offers a refined drinking experience. Its delicate minerality and light tannic structure pay homage to the crisp, refreshing qualities of a fine rosé.
