Get ready to groove and sway to the rhythm at an East End’s Tumble Weed Tuesday event: The Lynn Blue Band at Marine Park in Sag Harbor on Tuesday, September 5, at 6 PM.
Featuring Lynn Blue on lead vocals, Dave Portocarrero on guitar and vocals, Jim Nanos on bass and vocals, Bob Golden on drums, and special guest Mike DiMeo on keys, the show will ignite the stage, bring the community together and celebrate WLNG’S 60th birthday. There will be food trucks offering a variety of options.
Lynn Blue Band promises an unforgettable night of diverse musical entertainment. Locals can expect to be taken on a journey through the hits of the ’70s, ’80s, and ’90s. The band will play an array of original music, reggae vibes, rock and roll, and soulful R&B tunes.
“We love this community and have been part of it’s unique fabric for 60 years. Our concert series was a big hit this summer so we thought we’d keep it going,” said Meterologist Bill Evans who owns the radio station.
“We’re thrilled to bring a fusion of genres to Marine Park, and celebrate WLNG’s anniversary – the station supports local live music and we’re grateful for that,” said Lynn who lives in Montauk.
