Almond in Bridgehampton is celebrating 25 years in business on April 15 with a throwback to its original 2001 menu at original 2001 prices. The menu will feature some of the classic dishes that have been on the menu since day one, including escargot, mussels, roast chicken, and a burger “deluxe,” as well as dishes that dig deep into the restaurant’s French roots with blanquette de veau, steak frites bordelaise, crème brûlée, and foie gras mousse.
Almond debuted on the Hamptons restaurant scene in the spring of 2001. The French bistro quickly became a favorite spot for locals, celebrities, and tourists. Chef Jason Weiner quickly established himself on the East End with a strong commitment to using locally farmed products and local produce.
