Almond’s Jason Weiner Marks 20th Appearance At Outstanding In The Field

Jason Weiner, executive chef and co-owner of Almond Restaurant, will be the featured chef at the coveted annual event, Outstanding in the Field. This will be Jason’s 20th year as the featured chef of this special dining event.

To be held on Wednesday, September 9, from 3 to 7:30 PM, Outstanding in the Field will take place at Foster Farm, located at 729 Main Street in Sagaponack.

“Chef Jason is a bit of an OITF celebrity. He’s been participating as guest chef with us since 2008, and this will be his 20th appearance in the field kitchen – more than any other chef in OITF history. That kind of tenure leads to long-standing traditions, including Jason leading the creation of a human pyramid at the event close. If you’ve never been part of a people pyramid, this is your chance,” shared Outstanding in the Field’s team.
