Pop art provocateur Ashley Longshore, known for her irreverent and thought-provoking works, hosted an end-of-summer party and pop-up show in Sag Harbor alongside award-winning designer Donna Karan. Thrown at the home of Sean McClenahan and Michael McGraw, the Sagaponack estate was transformed into a gallery in which the fine artist debuted a new collection of monkey paintings in her signature style, titled “Please Keep Your Dick Off The Furniture,” along with some of her other classic works and best-sellers. Collectors and guests enjoyed bar areas with cocktails curated by Casa Dragones Tequila, toasting to art and fashion. Attendees included Deborra-Lee Furness and Fern Mallis, among others.

The pop-up comes on the heels of Ashley’s successful first showing at Miami Art Week, a star-studded residency in Nashville, and an appearance at New York City’s FOCUS Art Fair. Longshore, a New York-based artist and independent gallerist with a studio located in Tribeca, goes on the road throughout the year to showcase her renowned works and introduce new collections across America, including Palm Beach, Atlanta, Chicago, and more.

An early adopter of social media marketing, Longshore gained a global following not only for her work but for her colorful, unapologetic sense of humor. She is paving her own way through the contemporary art world. Her works will next be on display at a storefront in New York City this fall, as part of a months-long pop-up show.
