The award-winning Top Hops Beer Shop in Manhattan is heading to the Hamptons and the North Fork in a vintage inspired tap truck, The Half Pint.
A unique beer obsessed hybrid brand, Top Hops is going mobile for the 2022 season with a three wheeled Piaggio Ape Classic imported from Italy. Developed by the makers of Vespa, the three wheeled scooter was designed at the end of World War II as a transport solution in economically depressed Italy that could handle the tricky small Italian roads with light delivery items. The retro style mobile bar specializes in the service of high-quality draft beer curated for each party or event.
Top Hops owner Ted Kenny was looking to bring his popular beer shop to the Hamptons and the North Fork and settled on creating a mobile tap truck, meant for parties, corporate events, educational beer classes or a simple backyard BBQ.
The team at Top Hops has curated several distinct beer packages available with a rental of Half Pint to satisfy a broad range of tastes. From Endless Summer, a selection designed with backyard and beach summer parties in mind, to Globe-Trotter, a trip around the world highlighting craft imports, each curated package is customizable as well to fit all taste profiles.
Top Hops also offers the option to partner with food brands such as King Andrew’s mobile cheese shop to offer a paired cheese selection to match the curated beer selection or the Rolling in Dough pizza truck for brick oven pizzas with your beer.
“I am excited to take Top Hops Beer Shop on the road! My favorite part of Top Hops has been my interactions with fellow beer lovers and curious folk. Beer has hundreds of styles represented under the two ‘families’ of beer, ale and lager. When someone tells me ‘I don’t like beer,’ I say ‘you just haven’t tasted the beer you love, yet.’ With my access to thousands of beers, if you have an open mind, I can find a beer you will love. The Half Pint gets me out of the bar and closer to the people that I love sharing my love of beer with,” shared Ted Kenny.
