Design With Purpose: Hampton Designer Showhouse Returns To Bridgehampton

On Saturday, July 19, a vibrant new summer exhibition unfolds across five meticulously landscaped acres in Bridgehampton: a striking 9,000-square-foot home transformed by some of the nation’s most innovative interior designers. Returning for its 24th season, the 2025 Hampton Designer Showhouse not only celebrates design excellence but also makes a meaningful contribution to support Stony Brook Southampton Hospital.

This year’s showhouse, presented by Hamptons Cottages & Gardens, features more than two dozen acclaimed design firms from across the U.S. Each firm transforms a space in a large custom home developed by Town & Country East End. The modern estate includes a tennis court, pool, and a two-story poolhouse—perfect for the high-summer dreams that represent the Hamptons lifestyle.

What started over twenty years ago as a way to showcase interior design has become a key part of the East End’s cultural calendar. It has raised nearly $2 million for Stony Brook Southampton Hospital since it began. “This collaboration shows our shared dedication to quality,” said Julia McCormack, President of the Southampton Hospital Foundation. “We look forward to presenting an exceptional Showhouse this summer that will inspire and engage our community.”

This year’s cast of designers is as impressive and varied as ever. From national stars like Robert Brown Interior Design and Purple Cherry Architects to local firms like Fiorello Designs and Sea Green Designs, the lineup shows a range of design styles—from modern minimalism to coastal charm.

Joining as Honorary Design Chairs are renowned designers Jamie Drake and Alexa Hampton. Libby Langdon and Mikel Welch add fresh energy as the 2025 Showhouse Co-Chairs.

Leading sponsors, including Caesarstone, STARK Carpet, JennAir, Sub-Zero Wolf Cove, and The Shade Store will support their combined creative efforts. Even the kitchen appliances and fixtures, provided by P.C. Richard & Son, Baldwin, and others, will reflect a commitment to innovation and quality. “The Hampton Designer Showhouse leads the way in new trends and future styles in décor,” said HC&G Editor in Chief Clinton Smith. “‘Hamptons design’ isn’t just a local term. What starts here often shapes design across the country.”

The event has become an annual destination for tastemakers, design lovers, and house-hunting enthusiasts eager for inspiration or simply to admire. Each ticket sold supports essential healthcare services that Stony Brook Southampton Hospital provides across Long Island’s South Fork, including the Phillips Family Cancer Center, Heart and Stroke Center, and over 30 additional care locations.

The Showhouse opens with a grand Preview Party on Saturday, July 19, with tickets starting at $275. Public tours begin the next day and run through August 31, Thursday through Sunday, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Admission is $45 and includes a Showhouse Journal.
