The Retreat will host its annual Golf Outing on Monday, September 22, at Noyac Golf Club in Sag Harbor.
The Outing will begin at 11 AM with registration and lunch, followed by a shotgun start at 12 PM. Golfers will enjoy the Ross Forbes-designed course, spanning 144 acres of rolling parkland right by Noyac Bay. The Noyac Golf Club provides a challenging experience for skilled golfers but is also perfect for golfers of all levels.
After the tournament, players will gather at the clubhouse for cocktails and appetizers, a seated dinner, and an exciting live auction featuring exclusive golf experiences and a private in-home dining experience with celebrity chef Michael Symon. A renowned restaurateur, television personality, and author, Chef Symon will personally prepare a gourmet meal for the winning bidder in their own home.
This year, we are proudly honoring Ray Harden, Co-Owner of Ben Krupinski Builder. Harden personally oversees projects for residential and commercial properties in the Hamptons, New York City, and Connecticut. He is also an active member and former chief of the 150-volunteer East Hampton Fire Department since joining in 1999. Currently serving as sergeant of arms, Emergency Vehicle Operator Course instructor, president of the benevolent association, company secretary, and overseer of tankers who is qualified to drive five different types of fire trucks, Ray has been Fire Fighter of the Year three times and was recognized by the Suffolk County Legislature with a proclamation for saving a life and serving courageously during the COVID-19 pandemic.
“It is an honor to be recognized by The Retreat in this way. The work they do to give vulnerable families in our community a safe haven is outstanding. The work we do for them is always from the heart. We are proud to stand alongside them,” said Harden.
