Philanthropist, TV Host and author Jean Shafiroff hosted her Annual Bastille Day Luncheon at Michael’s Restaurant New York in honor of the French Heritage Society. Guests enjoyed a specially composed menu in Michael’s private dining room.

Shafiroff has served as a board member of the French Heritage Society since 2012. A strong supporter of the nonprofit organization, she is dedicated to the preservation, restoration, and promotion of French heritage in America and France. In November of 2022, the French Heritage Society honored Jean Shafiroff for her philanthropy at their New York City Gala.
The French national holiday, Bastille Day, commemorates the storming of the Bastille prison, marking the beginning of the French Revolution, which took place on July 14, 1789.
