The Southampton Animal Shelter Foundation hosted Barkerton, a Bridgerton-inspired dog-friendly garden party, on Sunday, August 23, at Southampton Inn. The latest addition to SASF’s Summer of Tails series brought guests and their dogs together for an afternoon of Regency-inspired attire, a dog costume contest, live violinist Paxin Tenebris, cocktails, tea service, lawn games, and more.
Every ticket to Barkerton helped provide shelter, medical care and second chances for the animals of the Southampton Animal Shelter Foundation. Guests and their dogs embraced the event’s garden-party theme, with pups dressed in bonnets, cravats and tiaras for the afternoon’s festivities.
