Southampton Fresh Air Home Hosts 34th Annual Decorators-Designers-Dealers Sale & Auction

Supporters of Southampton Fresh Air Home joined for its 34th Annual Decorators-Designers-Dealers (D-D-D) Sale and Auction Benefit Gala on Saturday, May 30. More than 500 guests gathered for an evening of cocktails, shopping, and spirited bidding, with The Dunmore Hotel returning as the event’s Presenting Sponsor.

When the opening bell rang, shoppers dispersed throughout the beautifully designed rooms, snapping up furniture, antiques, artwork, and home décor treasures. The D-D-D Sale offers exceptional finds at remarkable prices.

Auctioneer Jacques Azoulay energized the crowd as guests competed for an array of coveted experiences and luxury offerings. Among the highlights was a private dinner for 20 prepared by celebrated chef Hanna Haar, winner of “Beat Bobby Flay.” Guests also bid on exclusive getaways to Puerto Rico, Palm Beach, New York City’s Mark Hotel, and Shou Sugi Ban House in Water Mill. Wine enthusiasts were captivated by a collection of more than 50 lots of fine and rare wines.

SFAH President Madeline Elghanayan delivered a heartfelt tribute to Ann Grimm, recognizing her more than 20 years of leadership of the Design Team and her invaluable contributions to the event’s success. The D-D-D Gala is one of SFAH’s most important fundraisers, supporting its mission to provide summer camp and year-round programs for children and young adults with physical disabilities.

One of the evening’s most moving moments came when camper parent Kelly Belgrave shared her daughter’s experience at SFAH, offering a powerful reminder of the Home’s life-changing impact on families.

In honor of the organization’s 125th year of service in Southampton, the Board of Directors announced the launch of a capital campaign to rebuild SFAH’s aquatics center, ensuring that future generations of campers will continue to benefit from safe, accessible, and innovative aquatic programming.
