The Village of Southampton and presenting sponsor Stony Brook Southampton Hospital present Southamptonfest 2026, the beloved annual celebration that returns for its 14th year on Saturday, October 3.
One of the East End’s most anticipated fall traditions, Southamptonfest brings together residents, visitors, local businesses, cultural institutions, and community organizations to celebrate Southampton Village. From art and history to food, music, shopping, and family activities, the festival showcases the community spirit and cultural life of the Village during one of the most beautiful times of year on the East End.

The festivities begin on Friday evening, October 2, with the annual Southampton Rotary Club Kickoff Party. The popular event features an evening of music, dancing, and community celebration while supporting the Rotary Club’s longstanding commitment to service throughout the Southampton community.
The main event takes place on Saturday, October 3, when Southampton Village comes alive with art, entertainment, shopping, food, and family-friendly activities.
Festival favorites include the celebrated Chowder Contest, a petting zoo, a bouncy house, circus acts, sidewalk sales, live music, The Art Nanny, children’s activities, and seasonal offerings from many of the Village’s favorite restaurants and food vendors.
A portion of the proceeds from Southamptonfest will once again benefit the restoration of the Village’s historic World War I Memorial in Agawam Park, helping preserve one of Southampton’s most significant landmarks for future generations.
Many of Southampton’s most cherished cultural institutions and nonprofit organizations will participate throughout the festival weekend, including the Peter Marino Art Foundation, Southampton Cultural Center, Southampton Arts Center, Rogers Memorial Library, Southampton History Museum, Southampton African American Museum, Southampton Chamber of Commerce, Southampton Village Fire Department, Southampton Village Volunteer Ambulance, Southampton Village Ocean Rescue, Heart of the Hamptons, the Chamber of Commerce Farmers & Artisans Market, North Sea Maritime Center, Southampton Animal Shelter Foundation, and more.
Stony Brook Southampton Hospital will have a presence at Agawam Park, with several health education tables highlighting the hospital’s various clinical areas of specialty.
