Sparkling Pointe’s annual Local Oyster Showcase will take place on Saturday, October 21, at 3 PM, under a tent on the terrace in Southold. Guests can walk around for an interactive tasting flight of six Sparkling Pointe wines paired with a selection of both raw and prepared Long Island oysters.
Guests will learn about oyster terroir (merroir) through this opportunity to taste unique oyster varieties and meet the people who grow and cook with them. Pairings will feature a combination of raw oysters and prepared oyster dishes by local chefs. This year’s lineup includes Founders Oysters, Peconic Golds, Oysterponds, Fire Island Blues, Violet Cove, Claudio’s Restaurant, First & South, Frisky Oyster, Fyr & Salt, North Fork Shack, and more.
