The Springs Food Pantry will host its fifth Annual Springs Garden Party on Saturday, July 11, bringing together neighbors, supporters, and local businesses for an elegant summer evening in support of families facing food insecurity in Springs.
Held in the beautiful gardens of gracious hosts Greg McCarthy and Peter Bickford, the event will feature cocktails, seasonal hors d’oeuvres, live music, a lively auction, and a raffle — all benefiting the Springs Food Pantry and its mission to provide healthy, supplemental food to local families in need.
Each week, the Pantry serves nearly 400 families and over 1,500 household members in the Springs community. Demand reached record levels this past winter, reflecting the growing financial pressure many local working families continue to face in one of the most expensive regions in the country.
“For more than 30 years, the Springs Food Pantry has been here for our neighbors,” said Holly Reichart-Wheaton, Director and Chairperson of the Springs Food Pantry. “The Garden Party is not only a beautiful evening of community and generosity, but one of the most important ways we raise the funds needed to keep fresh, healthy food on our shelves every single week.”
The event will also celebrate the Pantry’s farming partners — Amber Waves, Balsam Farms, Quail Hill Farm, and Share the Harvest Farm — whose ongoing generosity helps provide healthy, seasonal produce to recipients throughout the growing season.
“Our farming partners are truly at the heart of what makes our Pantry special,” said Amy Leopold, Events Leader for the Springs Garden Party. “Their generosity brings fresh, local, healthy food directly to our recipients, and their partnership reflects the very best of community spirit here in Springs. We’re proud to celebrate them at this year’s Garden Party.”
The Pantry is also supported by this year’s sponsors, including Ryan McNally & Ryan Lang, Hummel Builders, Skin by Lucia, Peter’s Produce, Mickey’s Carting, Adam Miller Group, M&T Bank, Paraco Gas, ProperPH Pools, Ronald Webb Builders, Twomey Latham, The Bayberry, and Broadway Heights Dairy. Because of this support, sponsorships for the 2026 Garden Party are already 40% ahead of last year, putting the event on track to be our most successful fundraiser yet.
Event partners include Silver Spoon Specialties, Lynn Blue Band, Cocktails and Dreams, Wölffer Estate Vineyard, Springs Wines & Liquors, Domaine Franey Wines, Springs Brewery, Bloom Country, Zag’s Photo Booths, Poppi Soda, Frederick Wildman & Sons, Meghan’s Cookies, Levain Bakery, Opa’s Granola, and Jamagansett.
This year’s event will also feature an online auction and raffle showcasing contributions from more than 50 local merchants, artists, restaurants, wineries, and service providers. Auction items include original artwork, luxury getaways, golf experiences, wellness packages, dining experiences, and one-of-a-kind East End adventures.
The virtual auction and raffle will be open to everyone, allowing supporters to participate even if they are unable to attend the Garden Party. Bidding and raffle ticket sales are open now, and winners will be announced during the event on July 11.
Last year’s Springs Garden Party welcomed nearly 300 guests and raised critical funds to support the Pantry’s weekly food distributions. As a 100% volunteer-led organization, the Springs Food Pantry directs more than 92% of donations directly toward food purchases, ensuring support goes where it is needed most.
