Bedside Reading welcomes the beach season with a lineup of beach reads, both physical and digital, and a special offering from Ashley LaRocca of Hamptons Wine Concierge, a sommelier selected and sustainable wine that’s delivered to your doorstep.
From Friday, May 27 to Monday, May 30 the luxury hotel amenity that places a wide variety of complimentary books by the bedsides in the Hamptons and in luxury hotels and boutique properties throughout the world, is offering guests a collection of fiction and non-fiction books including Thrillers, Memoirs, Fiction, Self-Help, and Children’s books from the program’s participating authors. Each tote bag of books will also include a post card with the Hamptons Wine Concierge offering.
“Our books are carefully curated for the summer Hamptons visitor,” said Jane Ubell-Meyer, Founder of Bedside Reading. “And so are the wines offered through our weekend partner Ashely LaRocca. She personally curates the wines that match all of your needs, and they are sustainable – they leave the soil better than they found it – and they are delicious!”
Books included in the tote bags are The Death of Harry Crow by Leith Macarthur, EN by Michelle Reynoso, The Baseball Widow by Suzanne Kamata, Thrive by Valarie Budayr, The Secret Love Letters of Olivia Moretti by Jennifer Probst, Tidal Flats Cynthia Newberry Martin, On The Way To Casa Lotus by Lorena Juno Margain, and IZZY’s Trash Mountain Mystery by Debra Smally.
Each hotel will provide a Bedside Reading bookmark with a special QR code providing access to a variety of eBooks and audiobooks via their on the download program. On the Download books change quarterly and are available 24/7 to every guest. This quarter’s book genres range from Business, Fiction and Non-Fiction to Thrillers and Mysteries, Classics and Historical Fiction to Children’s and more.
