The Bridge X Celebrated A Decade Of Automotive Excellence At The Historic Bridgehampton Race Circuit 

The Bridge X, presented by Mercedes-Benz USA, returned to the historic grounds of the former Bridgehampton Race Circuit on Saturday, September 19, marking a decade of the by-invitation gathering that has become one of the most eagerly awaited events in the automotive world.

Across the fairways of The Bridge golf club, some of the world’s most coveted and rarely seen vehicles once again assembled in an artful display, drawn from some of the finest private collections worldwide.

The Bridge X celebrates the Hamptons’ deep ties to racing, honoring Bridgehampton’s racing past. It is one of the few events of its kind held on the grounds of a historic racing circuit. The event is a collaboration between Robert Rubin, Founder and CEO of The Bridge, Shamin Abas, President of Shamin Abas Associates, and Jeffrey Einhorn, a Manhattan-based attorney and longtime car collector.

It was also a landmark year for the presenting sponsor. Mercedes-Benz celebrates its 140th anniversary, marking 140 years since Carl Benz filed the patent for the first automobile in 1886. At this year’s event, attendees explored “Lines of Motion,” an art installation highlighting 140 years of Mercedes-Benz through a bold landscape of color, form, and movement. Mercedes-Benz vehicles were woven throughout the gathering, spanning historic and contemporary icons including multiple 300 SLs and the Mercedes-AMG ONE.

The event also continued The Bridge’s signature use of color groupings, with an assembly of white Porsche 911 RS models spanning generations, an ombré of green Porsches, and a striking collection of Ferraris presented in shades of green. Sixteen Ferrari Testarossas were displayed across the driving range, while a starting grid on Paddock Four brought together race cars spanning from the 1950s through the present. A collection of sporting Mercedes-Benz models from the 1950s to today, alongside an array of supercars and hypercars from marques across the automotive world, further expanded the display.

Volvo returned to The Bridge with the debut of its new all-electric EX60, introduced with a live performance by renowned pianist and composer Chloe Flower. The presentation brought together Volvo models from across the decades, including the 1957 PV444E, 1972 P1800E, 1995 850 T-5R, 2026 XC90 T8, and 2027 EX60.

Ferrari North America presented a curated display on the croquet lawn, while Spyker made its Bridge debut with the limited-edition C8 Preliator XXV. FariCars showcased a selection of its luxury vehicle conversions, adding another dimension to the gathering’s exploration of contemporary automotive craftsmanship.

The Bridge X also expanded beyond automobiles, bringing together leading names in horology, fashion, aviation, design, and luxury lifestyle. Breguet presented a working atelier, where a Master Guillocheur demonstrated the intricate art of Guilloché on an antique rose-engine machine, while a Master Watchmaker demonstrated live movement assembly and disassembly. Among the timepieces on view were the Experimentale 1, featuring the world-first magnetic escapement; the GPHG-winning Souscription 2025BH; six new tourbillon models commemorating 225 years since Breguet invented the complication; and historic automotive timepieces created for the Bugatti Royale and Lamborghini Diablo.

Twisted Automotive presented two bespoke classic Land Rover Defenders, each handcrafted over more than 2,500 hours and finished in event-exclusive colorways, including Hyperion Blue. The marque also previewed its 500-horsepower TRRC through a precision scale model ahead of its full-scale U.S. debut in October. Expedition Motor Company returned with a frame-off restoration of a Mercedes-Benz 250GD Wolf, rebuilt from European military service over more than 2,500 man-hours and powered by a 430-horsepower LS3 V8.

The gathering extended into the skies with Blade, a Joby Company, presenting a full-scale model of Joby’s S4 electric aircraft alongside an on-site lounge, while Pivotal brought its Electric Aircraft to the grounds for demonstrations.

Aston Martin presented two bespoke vehicles, while Luminari Motor Company debuted its SLV63, described by the marque as the “Rolling Trunk.” The Twenty Five offered guests a simulator experience of its one-of-a-kind Seaglider. Motor Club New York joined The Bridge for the first time with a pop-up clubhouse experience at the top of the 18th hole, while Merrill, a Bank of America Company, returned with its on-site lounge.

Mytheresa, the event’s exclusive luxury fashion partner, created an immersive men’s lounge focused on fashion, craftsmanship, and luxury lifestyle, featuring a curated selection of luxury menswear alongside bespoke tailoring, shoe shining, and premium cigars. The Hangar Group hosted an immersive virtual reality experience, giving guests the chance to explore one of its spaces and envision how owners can make it their own.

Bridge Next brought an additional dimension to the automotive display, with Kimera Automobili participating alongside Venuum, which showcased a Rolls-Royce Cullinan and a Ferrari Purosangue. The event also welcomed Moët Hennessy as its exclusive Wine & Spirits partner, while BonBon served hot dogs and candy from its Swedish-inspired stand. The event’s Americana-inspired visual storytelling continued with a new drive-in movie theater vignette, with cars and chairs arranged for guests to watch a hypercut of Bob Rubin’s favorite car movies, narrated by Rubin himself, alongside classic concessions including popcorn. Nearby, a vintage-inspired taxi stand and bus stop featured a 1973 GMC New Look Bus and multiple yellow ports cars serving as cabs, while artists “tagged” a cardboard Mason Williams bus artwork, adding another playful layer of street culture and Americana to the grounds.

The Bridge weekend continued Sunday, September 20, with Cars & Coffee, presented by 1600 Veloce, at the Bridgehampton Museum. Complimentary and open to the public, the morning gathering brought enthusiasts together to display and celebrate classic, vintage, exotic, and specialty vehicles.

The weekend concluded with The Bridge at Topping Rose House, celebrating Mercedes-Benz’s 140th Jubilee in a ticketed garden gathering limited to 500 guests. Ticket proceeds benefited Heart of the Hamptons, the Southampton-based nonprofit providing a weekly food pantry and emergency assistance to local individuals, seniors, and families in need.
