Nick & Toni’s presents #WineWednesday Workshops. Created by Honest Man Hospitality Beverage Director and certified sommelier Chimene Visser Macnaughton, this collaboration with Wainscott Main Wine & Spirits is in its 10th year on the East End, offering certification-level seminars designed around themed tasting flights.
Classes are open to all levels and held on Wednesdays from 5:30 to 7 PM. Tickets are $35 per week in advance, dining room space is limited, and reservations are strongly encouraged. The ticket includes tasting sheets, crystal tasting stems, and small plates from Nick & Toni’s kitchen. Students are eligible for workshop discounts on retail purchases through Wainscott Main Wine & Spirits. Attendees who book all seven weeks will be entered to win a seat at a future “Getway Thursday” wine pairing event.
“#WineWednesdays are my favorite season of the year! It’s wild to think we’ve been providing certification-level content now for over a decade. I’m quite partial to our perfect-sized ‘classroom’ here in Nick & Toni’s back dining room, and when our wood oven pizzas move into the small bite rotation, it’s a home run. This springsesh kicks off with a recurring class that is the most fun to share out with a broad group of wine students — we ‘blind’ the instructor, and he guides the class through deductive tasting without himself knowing ahead what wines he’s tasting and teaching. Students learn to trust their instincts as we guide them to support their theories of what the flights of wine might be. It’s a blast!” said Macnaughton.
Workshops begin on March 6 with Bob Pruett, Advanced Sommelier Candidate, Court of Master Sommeliers, Americas. Purchase tickets and view the full schedule by visiting Nick & Toni’s on Resy.
