Project MOST Executive Director Rebecca Morgan Taylor was presented with a proclamation at the East Hampton Town board meeting on Thursday, December 21.
Presented by Town Supervisor Peter Van Scoyoc, the proclamation recognizes and honors Taylor’s two decades of service and commitment to the children and families of East Hampton. The proclamation commends her “passion for education and dedication to her work which has made her an instrumental member of the community.”
The proclamation specifically recognizes Taylor’s work in growing Project MOST and providing after-school care for two school districts, classes and programming for toddlers, workshops for adults and weekend and vacation learning labs offering working parents affordable quality care.
Finally, the proclamation recognizes under Taylor’s leadership Project MOST’s ability to offer a summer learning program and full-day remote learning support and enrichment during the Covid-19 pandemic supporting essential workers and the well-being of children who could not attend school in person.
“I am honored to be presented with this proclamation. I give thanks to Supervisor Van Scoyoc and the rest of the town board for their support and recognition. I have worked with many wonderful children and families through the years and credit my staff who work with the children daily. I look forward to many more years with Project MOST and serving the children of our community,” shared Rebecca Morgan Taylor.
Since 2001, Project MOST has been committed to bridging the experience gap in East Hampton by providing affordable access to dynamic enrichment programs for children. Project MOST’s mission is to inspire students and families to achieve their utmost in life through after school, summer, and community programming.
