The Art Of Wine Pairing At Benoit In New York City

Benoit, one of Manhattan’s most loved French restaurants by legendary chef and restaurateur Alain Ducasse, hosts a monthly wine series. Each tasting will be held in the Benoit private dining rooms, which boast vibrant images from La Côte Basque by artist Bernard Lamotte and floor-to-ceiling French oak molded by master artisans.

The series, created by Restaurant Manager Julien Moreno, is designed to take guests on a tour of France’s most loved wine regions. Each evening will include an intimate tasting of four wines hosted by Moreno and Benoit’s sommelier team, with accompanying bites created to pair with the wines.

September focused on Bordeaux wines. October will hone in on Rhone wines with charcuterie and quenelles bites. November will be dedicated to Bourgogne wines with escargots and beef Bourguignon bites. December will close out the year with Champagne alongside cheese and chocolate bites.

These special evenings will include a 1.5-hour session and offer the opportunity to spend time amongst fellow wine enthusiasts.

The Benoit wine series will be held in the private dining room on October 25, November 22, and December 27. All tastings will begin at 6.30 PM, and tickets are $95. Visit benoitny.com.
