Valentine’s Day is upon us. Here are just a few hotel and dining specials to celebrate love on the East End.

Gurney’s Montauk Resort & Seawater Spa

Gurney’s Montauk Resort & Seawater Spa presents a Valentine’s Celebration. This Valentine’s Day, guests of the resort will enjoy live music, cookie decorating, mixology classes, a prix fixe dinner, and more to celebrate the romantic holiday. Couples looking for a relaxing getaway can also visit the Seawater Spa. Guests who book the Month of Love Package will enjoy a $300 Seawater Spa credit per night, a bottle of champagne, a dozen roses upon arrival, and dinner for two at the resort’s on-site restaurant Scarpetta Beach.

The Hampton Maid in Hampton Bays will reopen February 9 with a renovated dining room. To celebrate, they’re offering a Valentine’s getaway that includes the option to take a chef-led cooking class along with accommodations in one of the junior suites, a three-course dinner at R.AIRE, and a country breakfast basket to enjoy in-room. Couples can also book a private couples massage during their stay. The cooking class will be led by chef Alex, who brings his Spanish-influenced cuisine to the East End. Guests will prepare rosemary smoked oysters with chorizo mignonette and chicken and mushroom canelones with truffle bechamel sauce.

The Valentine’s Day Getaway is available Friday, February 10 to Sunday, February 12, and Tuesday, February 14 with no minimum stay. Prices start at $280 per person. Couples’ massages are $225 per person, and the cooking class, offered Sunday, February 12, is $150 per person.

Canoe Place Inn & Cottages

Canoe Place Inn & Cottages in Hampton Bays presents “Canoe Feel The Love Tonight?” Through February 14, the hotel is offering a romantic getaway package which includes luxury overnight accommodations, Champagne upon arrival, a $200 dining credit, decadent confections from Executive Pastry Chef Hope Barbeau, and an early 2 PM check-in and late 2 PM checkout. Good Ground Tavern at Canoe Place will offer a five-course Valentine’s Day menu for $95 per person.

Calissa

Calissa in Water Mill presents a prix fixe Valentine’s Day menu on Tuesday, February 14, for $75 per person. Customers can choose between a variety of appetizers, such as fig salad with baby arugula, prosciutto, blue cheese, and port wine reduction, or Kolokythopita squash and feta pie; an entrée, such as filet mignon with Greek style chimichurri, mashed potato, and lemon Horta; and a dessert, like chocolate lava cake with Valrhona chocolate, and fresh strawberries, or red velvet cake with chocolate sauce. There will also be an al a carte addition of a raw bar platter with six Peconic gold oysters, three shrimp cocktail, and colossal crabmeat for an additional $45.

Nick & Toni’s

Nick & Toni’s in East Hampton will offer a special prix fixe menu for Valentine’s Day on Tuesday, February 14, of four-courses for $125 per person, plus tax and gratuity. The restaurant, which is usually closed on Tuesday, will open for the holiday. Menu items include whole roasted black sea bass, New Zealand lamb chops, and New York Waygu strip steak. A special “Valentine’s Day at Home” a la carte menu will also be available and orders can be placed here. Reservations are suggested and may be made at nickandtonis.com or by calling 631-324-3550.

Highway Restaurant & Bar in East Hampton is celebrating Valentine’s Day with specials all weekend February 10 to 11. Specials on the menu include hamachi crudo, spaghetti diavola, pan-roasted halibut, 16oz strip steak, and walnut cake. Festive beverages include Baron Rothschild Rosé Champagne by the glass or bottle or the K for Kiss Martini, a pink-hued white chocolate martini with vanilla vodka.

The 1770 House Restaurant & Inn in East Hampton celebrates Valentine’s Day with a prix fixe menu and 15 percent off winter rates at the inn throughout February. On Tuesday, February 14, Chef Michael Rozzi will present a $95 three-course menu in the dining room and Tavern with sparkling toast selections guided by Wine Director Michael Cohen.

Celebration dishes for Valentine’s Day include appetizers such as Montauk lobster and Milk Pail green apple salad, warm wild Gulf shrimp with hearts of palm and avocado, and seared Hudson Valley foie gras with dark rum sauce, pineapple-vanilla bean chutney and buttermilk pancake. Among the entrees will be seared Montauk sea scallops, Montauk fluke, marinated Berkshire pork tenderloin, and a duo of grass-fed New York strip steak and braised short rib. Desserts will include house favorite sticky date cake.

Throughout February, including Valentine’s Day, The 1770 House will offer 15 percent off already reduced winter rates and a complimentary bottle of house bubbly.

Almond Restaurant

Almond in Bridgehampton will offer a special “Shades of Red” menu in honor of Valentine’s Day on Tuesday, February 14. The four course menu is $90 per person plus tax and gratuity. This special menu will be the only menu offered on Valentine’s Day. Items include Peconic bay scallops and shawarma spiced rack of lamb.

Claude’s Restaurant at the Southampton Inn

Claude’s Restaurant at the Southampton Inn celebrates two Valentine’s weekends with brunch, red wine, and roses. Enjoy Pete’s red velvet pancakes with raspberries, strawberries and whipped cream, or a fluffy omelette with lots of red peppers. The restaurant will also offer a $25 two-hour bottomless Bloody Mary, cranberry mimosa, or a Whispering Angel rosé spritzer. The a la carte menu is offered from 10 AM to 2 PM on February 11, 12, 18 and 19.

Elaia Estiatorio

Greek restaurant Elaia Estiatorio in Bridgehampton will offer a special four-course  Valentine’s Day menu including a bubbly aperitif from 5 to 9 PM on Tuesday, February 14. Menu highlights include fresh Streidia or oysters with a Greek mignonette, Kavouropita or lump crab with parsley and caramelized onion wrapped in phyllo with a preserved lemon Greek yogurt spread, and for dessert, a Greek chocolate pot de creme.

Coche Comedor

Coche Comedor in Amagansett will offer a la carte specials in honor of Valentine’s Day on Tuesday, February 14. The full regular a la carte menu will also be available. The specials include an appetizer of wood grilled local oysters and Caldo de Mariscos — clams, mussels, calamari, shrimp and lobster served with Chile de Árbol broth — as an entree.
