William Raveis Real Estate Extends Winter Coat Drive To Meet Growing Need

With temperatures dropping and the holiday season approaching, William Raveis Real Estate is extending its annual winter coat drive on the East End to help ensure that neighbors in need stay warm.

The effort, originally set to end on December 1, will now run through December 12. New and gently used coats and other outerwear can be dropped off at William Raveis offices in Montauk, East Hampton, Bridgehampton, Southampton, Westhampton Beach, Mattituck, and Greenport. Donations will be given to residents before the holidays.

“We are proud to help those less fortunate keep warm this winter,” said Judi Desiderio, a partner with William Raveis. “This provides outerwear to those in need before the holidays. Please drop off items at any of the William Raveis Real Estate offices in the center of these East End hamlets. Thank you for your contributions to this important cause.”

The company’s drive has become a seasonal tradition across the Hamptons and North Fork. It uses the foot traffic and visibility of its Main Street offices to collect cold-weather gear that might otherwise sit unused in closets. This year’s extension, Desiderio said, gives residents extra time to contribute and ensures that warm coats reach as many families as possible before winter arrives.
