Fylí (pronounced FEE-LEE), which stands for “tribe” is a female mastermind membership community focused on educational master classes, accountability, peer-to-peer mentorship, leadership advancement, and funding opportunities for early stage female founders. This business was started by co-founders Jaclynn Brennan and Summer Yanyi Li out of a personal need to help create a network of resources, education, and 360 lifestyle support for female entrepreneurs.
“Our goal was to bring together dreamers and doers in an authentic way to establish relationships and new connections that can lead to impactful partnerships, collaborations, and support for early stage female founders,” said a statement from Fylí Co-Founders Jaclynn Brennan and Summer Yanyi Li.
Fylí dedicated this event to creating funding and networking opportunities for their founders while providing a platform for diverse leaders to have access and a voice. Guests enjoyed cocktails featuring Barcode performance coconut water, tasted delicious bites from Cecconis, and posed for photos in the Bumble photo booth.
Bumble, the women-first dating and social networking app, was founded by CEO Whitney Wolfe Herd in 2014. Bumble connects people across dating (Bumble Date), friendship (Bumble BFF) and professional networking (Bumble Bizz). No matter the type of relationship, women make the first move on Bumble. The company is built on the importance of equitable relationships and how crucial they are to a healthy, happy life. They’ve built their platform around kindness, respect, and equality – and their community plays an important part in that. Bumble holds its users accountable for their actions and has zero tolerance for hate, aggression, or bullying.
James Lane Post, the media partner for the event, highlighted its new travel section, which is committed to exploring key locations in an authentic way, accurately representing each community. JLP partners with community members to explore each location, finding ways that those visiting can give back while supporting local and mission-driven businesses and by highlighting community programs and non-profits. In its next issue, and following the Miami Art Week event, James Lane Post will highlight South Florida.
