Libertine Unveils Exclusive Pop-Up Experience In Sag Harbor, Showcasing Avant-Garde Fashion & Homeware

Luxury fashion house, Libertine, presents an exclusive pop-up in Sag Harbor. Marking the Los Angeles-bred label’s third consecutive year returning to The Hamptons, the temporary storefront will run from June 23 through June 29 at the Barn at Sage & Madison, located at 31 Madison Street in Sag Harbor Village.

Known for its avant-garde prints, meticulous craftsmanship, and vibrant designs, Libertine’s Sag Harbor pop-up welcomes visitors into the mind of Creative Director, Johnson Hartig, whose eccentric take on fashion and culture has made Libertine a cult classic since the early aughts and a darling of iconic personalities including Martha Stewart, Cher, and Beyonce, among others.

The Sag Harbor pop-up will feature a glimpse into Libertine’s Spring/Summer 2025 runway collection, which debuted in September 2024 at NoLita’s Elizabeth Street Garden, featuring the house’s signature explosion of colors and patterns amidst an intimate and elite crowd. In addition to the brand’s core runway collection, clients will also be able to purchase offerings from recent collaborations, including Libertine x LeSportsac and Libertine x Larroudé.

The pop-up will feature one-of-a-kind and limited-edition pieces made specially for the brand’s Sag Harbor presence, available for purchase only from June 23 to June 29 at Libertine’s temporary location. Expanding upon the week’s exclusivity, the Sag Harbor shop will also offer a selection of curated home pieces from Creative Director, Johnson Hartig’s home, coined Basketcase. The shop will also house new homeware, encompassing candles, tea towels, blankets, and pillows — which can be upholstered using an assortment of up to 15 classic Libertine fabrics.

Emphasizing the brand’s attention to VIP customer treatment, the Sag Harbor pop-up will unveil bespoke options for clients to customize chinos and shirts on-site. Throughout the week, a Libertine-printed Moke will drive throughout the Village, hand-delivering purchases and offering personal pick-ups for those local customers who would like to attend the exclusive pop-up.

To celebrate another successful summer out East, Creative Director, Johnson Hartig, will be present in Sag Harbor, and you may even catch him driving the Moke himself.
