Disset Chocolate, an artisan chocolate company based on the North Fork, has captured the flavors of summer in its newest collection of chocolates. The Disset Signature Summer 2021 Collection is an assortment of small-batch, hand-crafted bonbons by Ursula XVII, a Michelin-trained pastry chef and chocolatier. Each year, chocolate aficionados can look forward to two brand-new Disset Chocolate Signature Collections that will feature new and unique seasonal flavors that are available only in that specific collection. And just as in a fashion line, once the season is over, the flavors will be retired to make room for new creations.
The Summer 2021 Collection includes Strawberry Lemonade, Pistachio Watermelon, Pineapple Mango Passionfruit, Pomegranate Pink Peppercorn, Cookie Dough, Kimchi Caramel and Tahini, and the Disset Mule.
“I am very excited to share the second edition of our Disset Signature Collection – Summer 2021,” said Ursula XVII. “It’s inspired by all the things I love to do, eat, and drink during the summer. This also means that we’re retiring the flavors of the Winter Collection. It’s the last time we’ll be producing these recipes, and although it’s tough to say goodbye to these flavors, it’s also cathartic. It’s always been the plan for the Disset Collection to keep innovating and creating new products that our customers can look forward to.”
To kick off the new collection, Disset will host a “Curious in Cutchogue” tasting event for the public at Atelier Disset on Saturday, July 17. Guests can sample the new bonbons along with either a glass of North Fork wine or a booze-free pairing from Curious Elixers, handmade in the Hudson Valley.
Tickets to “Curious in Cutchogue” are $12 and include two bonbon samples, a beverage pairing of choice, and 10 percent off the purchase of the Summer 2021 Collection.
The Signature Summer 2021 Collection and other Disset Chocolate products are available for purchase both online and in-person at Atelier Disset in Cutchogue. To purchase tickets in advance or for more information, visit wwwdissetchocolate.com.
