This fall, Canoe Place Inn & Cottages in Hampton Bays invites guests to embrace the season with a lineup of wellness, music, and festive gatherings.
Every Sunday through October 25, from 9:30 to 10:30 AM, Doza Yoga Studio will lead Yoga in The Pavilion, a complimentary, all-levels outdoor yoga class on the Great Lawn. Blending mindful movement with meaningful connection, the open-air flow offers a serene way to start the day.

Through October 28, the Garden Lawn will host Autumn Acoustics on Wednesday evenings, an intimate live music experience. With acoustic performances, glowing firepits, seasonal light bites, and cocktails, the series offers a relaxed way to enjoy the crisp autumn air and unwind with friends.

Beginning Thanksgiving weekend, Holidays in The Study will transform The Study at Canoe Place into a cozy seasonal retreat. Open Thursdays through Saturdays from 5 to 9 PM, the space will welcome guests to gather by the fire over seasonal cocktails. Saturday evenings will feature Fireside Sessions, with live acoustic music by Jeff LeBlanc.
Canoe Place is also expanding its hands-on food and beverage offerings, inviting guests to explore their culinary interests through immersive, guided experiences starting in November.

The Wine Tasting Experience offers a guided introduction to wine in an approachable, engaging setting. During the 60-minute session, guests will sample five wines — one sparkling, two whites, and two reds — while enjoying charcuterie and joining a guided tasting and discussion. Each guest will also receive an etched wine opener to take home. The experience is priced at $65 per person. Inquiries and bookings can be made online.
For those looking to sharpen their mixology skills, the Cocktail Making Class invites guests behind the bar to explore the ingredients, tools, and techniques that go into crafting a well-balanced drink. Over 90 minutes, participants will prepare three cocktails with hands-on guidance, enjoy light bar snacks, and take home a mini Canoe Place cocktail shaker. Guests can recreate Canoe Place favorites or experiment with cocktails inspired by their preferred spirits and flavors. The experience is priced at $45 per person.
Culinary enthusiasts can also step into the kitchen for a personalized Cooking Experience alongside award-winning Chef Matthew Woolf and the Canoe Place culinary team. Lasting 60 to 90 minutes, the hands-on session is tailored to guests’ interests, with no fixed menus or cookie-cutter lessons. Participants will prepare a seasonal main course and dessert before sitting down to enjoy their creations, accompanied by a glass of wine or a cocktail. The experience also includes a Canoe Place apron to wear and take home, along with a printed recipe card featuring the dishes prepared. It’s priced at $165 per person.
