Hampton Lifeguard Association will host a summer kick-off benefit on Saturday, May 1, at Harbor Bistro in East Hampton.
Harbor Bistro will offer a special takeout menu, with proceeds benefitting HLA, which may be ordered in advance with a designated pickup time. Upon pickup, HLA supporters will be able to bid on auction items and enter the 50/50 raffle in a socially distant and Covid-cautious manner.
Auction items will include gift certificates to local businesses, spa treatments, gift baskets, trips, and more. The deadline to order is April 28. Orders may be placed online at harborbistro.net or by calling Harbor Bistro at 631.324.7300 after 3 PM.
HLA supports lifeguard training programs and tournament competitions, the Volunteer Ocean Rescue Squad, the East Hampton YMCA Hurricane Swim Club, and other swim programs.
