Share the Harvest Farm will open its farm stand for the season on Thursday, May 16. Under the direction of Meredith Arm, the stand, known for supporting local artisans and offering fresh, sustainably grown produce, welcomes the community to celebrate another bountiful season.
This year, the farm stand is excited to introduce a new collaboration with Cyn and Trudy of The Cookery, who will offer various fresh culinary delights. These include vibrant green salads, flavorful dressings, artisan baked goods, quiche, dips, and more, incorporating produce grown at Share the Harvest Farm. This collaboration aims to give customers gourmet options for seasonal dining, entertaining, or a quick, nourishing lunch.
In addition to the familiar favorites, such as Aki’s Kitchen, Armin & Judy, and NoFo Pot Pies, the farm stand will feature even more new vendors this season, including Montauk Smoked Fish, Malbec Empanadas, Sue’s Balsamic Glazes, 3 Mom’s Organics, Urban Pharm Shrub, and Kira’s Cookies.
Led by farm director Matt Quirk, the Share the Harvest farm team has been busy growing a diverse array of produce. Their dedicated efforts ensure the farm stand is stocked with fresh, flavorful, and colorful produce. This hard work supports their primary mission: to provide the community with nutritious food while donating 80 percent of their harvest to local partners combating food insecurity on the East End.
