Cocktail Recipe: Casa Del Sol’s ‘Flamin’ Hot’

Eva Longoria, co-founder of Casa Del Sol Tequila made her feature film directorial debut with the film, “Flamin’ Hot,” out on Hulu and Disney+.

In celebration of the movie, Longoria and Casa Del Sol have created a drink for summer – a cocktail featuring spicy and fresh ingredients to turn up the heat. The clean cocktail incorporates Casa Del Sol’s blanco tequila, Angostura Bitters, fresh lime juice and a tajin rim and was inspired by Longoria’s vision to redefine tequila.

“Just in time for the hottest movie this summer, sip on a Flamin’ Hot margarita while you stream at home or hang with friends. Made with Casa Del Sol Blanco, this spicy and refreshing cocktail is rimmed with Tajin, giving you a boost to a Flamin’ Hot, summer!” said Longoria.

Flamin’ Hot is the inspiring story of Richard Montañez, the Frito Lay janitor who channeled his Mexican American heritage and upbringing to turn the iconic Flamin’ Hot Cheetos into a snack that disrupted the food industry and became a global pop culture phenomenon.

Similar to the story of the film, Casa Del Sol’s Flamin’ Hot cocktail was inspired by the flavors of the Mexican community and embodies the mindset and feeling of summertime.

You can find this cocktail at The Surf Lodge in Montauk as well as Quad Cinemas, K Pacho, and Gotham in New York City.
